*Straw hat color and weave pattern varies as each hat is hand woven using natural straw fibers. Each hat is unique in it's own way.
*Straw hats are delicate by nature and must be handled with care.
*Color of hats/patches may look different in person than in pictures depending on various factors including monitor settings and lighting. Recommend hand wash/spot clean only.
Can straw hats break?
Yes, straw hats can break easily if they're not handled with care or stored properly.
Handling:
Avoid pinching the crown or grabbing the hat from the front, as this can break the straw. Instead, hold the hat by the wings. Also, avoid getting oil and dirt from your hands on the crown, as it will show more than on the brim.
Storage:
Store straw hats in a cool, dry place, like a dark closet or on a hook, to prevent the fibers from drying out and cracking. If the hat has been stored for a long time, you can try steaming it for 30 seconds to add some moisture. Do not leave straw hat in sun for long periods of time as this can dry out the fibers and cause them to break.
Straw Hats are weaved so they are not very flexible. They are not a toy, very delicate and should be treated as such.
Dried straw is DELICATE and can be broken if bent or smashed. Straw hats are designed to protect you from the sun, but not from the water. Water on straw hats will cause the straw to bow, expand, and eventually break. Avoid putting it in the pool or ocean.
